Neodymium Disc Magnets
1)Attributes of Neodymium.
2)Very high resistance to demagnetization
3)High energy for size
4)Good in ambient temperature
5)Moderately priced
6)Material is corrosive and should be coated for long term maximum energy output
7)Low working temperature for heat applications, but higher levels of heat resistance materials are being introduced periodically.
8)Coatings of magnets: Z, Ni, epoxy
9)High grade can be used, such as N38SH, N38, N42, N40, N45H
Applications of Neodymium
Magnetic separators, linear actuators, microphone assemblies, servo motors, DC motors (automotive starters), computer rigid disc drives, printers and speakers.
